About Dr. Salema
Dr. Salema is a licensed psychologist in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Massachusetts. Dr. Salema has worked in several correctional and forensic settings, to include multiple correctional facilities and sex offender civil commitment programs. She has served as the Clinical Director of the Florida Civil Commitment Center (FCCC), a facility housing more than 500 men civilly committed as Sexually Violent Predators (SVPs). She also worked in multiple roles in the state and federal prison systems, offering treatment and evaluation services to male and female sexual and non-sexual offenders. More recently, Dr. Salema has conducted court-ordered evaluations assessing mental health, risk of violence, and psychosexual needs. Dr. Salema has also been more actively involved in consultation and program development for community-based sex offender treatment programs, community corrections, and re-entry services.
